what an awesome couple. These two 'staged' all of their photos with their own props. How awesome is that. Wine with glasses, and a basket with wine, this couple was set. They even brought an extra outfit to change into. I had so much fun with this couple, as always. I had previously done their wedding, because they hired me only 2 weeks prior to their wedding date, so they didn't have time to get these done before, so we just turned it into a couples session. :-)

This couple just has so much happiness in their relationship. You can see it in these photos. These photos were taken at Point Defiance Park. Beautiful place, and the weather was just perfect. I can't wait to do their wedding this summer. They are a lot of fun. He reminds me of either Jared Leto, or Jake Gillenhal. Am I right?

Erin & Matt ~ Such a beautiful engagement session

Erin and Matt did such a great job posing for me at this photoshoot. This was shot at Ft. Steilacoom Park, in Lakewood, WA. they had so much fun, and were open to just about anything. Some of the shots were their idea, like her being on his shoulders. We had fun, and it only took about an hour. They were troopers. She is now going to be ordering a wedding invitation from me, from these photos! Yay. How exciting. Just one more thing to add to what I can do. :-)

Tulip Farm April 2010

We went up to the Tulip Farm this past weekend. Wow, was it neat! I have never been in a flower garden and always saw them on TV, and just thought it was something that didn't exist, at least not near me. But, when we went up there this weekend, WOW! How gorgeous was this! Oh my. We had so much fun. Eli stopped and smelled the tulips, as well as me and my husband. :-) This was in Mt. Vernon, WA. I wish the flowers were around longer than a few weeks. This would be a great place to shoot at. Gotta figure out how to post more than 5 images. It's not letting me. Will have to post the rest to facebook....hmmm

Hotel Murano, Downtown, Tacoma, WA

This hotel is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Oh my goodness. All I have to say is it is exquisite. I had so much inspiration to take wedding photos here. This wedding was this past weekend. I actually got this wedding through another wedding I did a few weeks ago. Word of mouth. The best form of advertising! :-)

Oh my goodness. If you are trying to find a place to stay to get ready, I would definitely suggest hotel Murano. They are so luxurious. And if you are like most brides, and your wedding is all about the portraits, Hotel Murano is definitely the place for you. I was so inspired here, and STILL have so many ideas, and would LOVE to photograph there again. So come on! Let me know if you want any more information about this place!

My new blog!!! Yay!

So, it seems I have been hassled by many friends to start a blog. I don't really know what it will do for my business, but I suppose it's worth a shot.

It's very new, so very bare, so bare with me. This blog will be dedicated to my business, so you won't find any pictures of my little man on here, or my husband, unless of course, I did the pics professionally as a part of my business. :-)

Anyways, I am currently working on a new wedding, and wanted to post some of the pictures from it.
